Right guys, its only in a few places but ive got this effect on my wheel that i want to get rid of, its not really raised much from the actually laquer but you can feel it if you run your finger over it, tried T-cut and a bit of polish and niether seem to budge it any help appriciated

That really doesnt look like chrome. Just looks like laquered Aluminium and the laquer is cracking.

Think you'll find it's not chrome but unpainted alloy. Chrome is a pure mirror finish.

Did you degrease the rim before lacquering mate?

dude take them to rainbow polishing he will mirror polish them for £12 a rim just that lip bit would look so much better

my dad had rims like that and they went like that all the time, was forever polishing them

may of been autosol, not sure if his were laquered tho

Mine are laquered, cause i did it rofl, ill go buy some autosol i think in my lunch and try that...

not sure if it was autosol

would find out if its safe to put on first

if you have a polished lip you have to spend ages polishing it every week anyway

its deffinetly laquered over, cause we had to strip it all off when respraying, dunno if i can be arsed, looking at getting some new wheels in a few months, Ronal Turbos or RH AD Cup's

Waters obviously got in where it hasn't been totally sealed.

Will need to remove the laquer to sort it.
