Right, good news folks, i got a wad for my 21st so gonna use it to get the corsa back up to minter class, re-spray bumpers etc, get rid of stone chips, got a couple of subtle touches am gonna do which i know 100% you will all like as they have already been mentioned but 1 thing am not sure on is whether to do this to my bumper. Or leave it as it is and spend money elsewhere.
1. As it is now

2. idea i've got

To be honest, I'd keep th grill, looks better with it IMO, plus it'll help keep a bigger engine cooler.

Yeah i was wondering if that would be an issue, even now with the 1.6, and more so when i fit the XE.
I better hurry up and get my other bits finished so i can get the car in the bodyshop and back out again for PVS

I know people have filled the bumper and not had a cooling issue per se, but personally I'd prefer to keep the airflow in there.

Looks wrong without the grill imo and cooling will be affected for sure.

Better with the grill as it is. With it smoothed over it looks too featureless

Nooooooooo No No No! its a silly idea IMO.
It looks abysmal and there will be sod all airflow to your rad/engine bay.

He`s got decent headlights imo. I think the car looks spot on as it is btw.
If you have cash to burn why not throw it elsewhere? engine/chassis? ICE?

I've gotta disagree with the airflow comments, as the standard pre 97 bumpers with the grill in the bumper itself were in fact filled and only had a small hole for the air inlet and another for the horn, so cooling will not be a problem as thats what the lower grill is for,
but keep the grill it looks much nicer with a grill than it does without

If you like the idea of filling the gap see if you can get a vent put in like this kind of thing? -

As I haven't seen it done on the corsa plus will still get some airflow in

i have to say about filling the grill. as you can see i did it to my car, now i only have a 1.4 16v at the moment in it (2.016v to go in next year) since i have done this my car was seriously over heating not enough cool air hetting in at all. Ive had to make a switch inside the car so that i can turn the fan on manually and not wait for it to be automatic cause if i waited long enough the car would prob blow up:@)
