I got my first producer the other day.
My own fault how i got it.
So I take my documents up and get it all signed off. Now is it me or is it a complete waste of time they never checked anything just took a few details down and sent me on my way.
Or do they send the detals to a team to check them up (which i hope they do)

if you don't produce then you will get a summons if thats what you mean?

No I produced and he just looked at my insurance form MOT form etc.
wrote something down and that was it.
I just wondered if they check the policy numbers etc at a later date otherwise any kid with a good scanner could pull it off.

on the PNC system it shows up whether you have insurance and who is insured to drive it
