Anyone ever used this?

I have left my caps to dry for nearly 3 days and the chrome paint is still quite soft, I have heard that it can be soft for months, obviously this isnt anygood for parts on the exterior of a vehicle.

Iv been advised to laquer them, although I have heard from a couple of people that it may react with the laquer, and go grey n stuff.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I used it and it has nothing to do with chrome. It becomes shiny silver and grey when it loses its shinyness. I have never lacquered it though.

Found mirra chrome paint on the internet but it is pretty expensive. It comes in tins and you have to mix it with reducers etc.. Ideally it says that you should have a black base. I have never tried it though they claim 95% equivalent.

The actual chrome paint is what was used on that chrome M3 last year. Very convincing stuff I must say. Though you need to be a professional or very lucky to get a decent finish with it.
