It varies by company I think, I did some researcxh when I go to Mexico and it seems some company want you to be 21, others 25

Probably doesn't help you, but I hired a 3.6 V6 Holden Commodore when I was in Sydney last January, I was 24 at the time. This was with Avis.

Depends where you go!! iirc 21 for europe & 25 for USA!!

You have to be 21 by law in most places of the world. However, it is beneficial to be over 25 because you don't have to pay the extra insurance surcharges. Some places you can hire a car at a younger age; In some states in the USA for example, you can hire a car at 18, though you have to pay even more...

i had to be over 20 to hire a car from hertz in iceland, but 21 from avis. depends on companys aswell

it depends were you go last year in magaluf, we cud get a car out an i was only 18, but we decided to get scooters an quads instead lol
