I've personally driven a vx220 round knockhill and it was amazing. Never been in an evo, even as a passenger so cant comment on it.

If I was having it as an everyday car it would have to be the Evo.

If it was for a 2nd car that doesn't get used very often I'd go for the VX.

*cough*

Nismo....I might add the vx at CC was driven by a driver trying to drift not find the lines. I could have gone round quicker on my pushbike tbh

They've had one for about 5 months now although the VX220 doesnt belong to them.

at people thinking an evo is a suitable everyday car, i know someone who works at a top evo specialist and rallys in an evo 5 and they are VERY expensive
cars to run and maintain.

i would choose the vx220 turbo, probably just as fast in a straight line(except the fq-400) and as your so low to the ground its probably more fun, and feels faster to drive than the evo

having made this decision and looked at both earlier this year i bought an evo 7, hubby wanted me to have a vx220 but all i can say is the evo has been worth every penny...................and as for running costs why would you buy an evo if you wanted a car that was cheap to run
