Got them for 140 delivered, four ok tread tyres (205/55/15) (btw whats legal depth of tyres). what do you think of price.


Going to have a go at giving them a bit of a refurb,

and maybe spray them darker say the same colour as on the clio sports alloys

Wouldn't mind some advice on the refurb and spraying alloys (never done it before sprayed a lot using cans though)

Would cans be sufficient on alloys or would i need to hire a compressor?

tyres looks way too chunky, get some 45's

cans would be alright, haven't really got to match anything, just the 4 wheels, just take your time

legal tread depth is 1.6mm

but like 3CM said, they look a bit big there

yep tyres are big, just got them for bit of fun refurbing and spraying then throw them on car see how i like. then decide whether or not to keep....... or go splash out on some rota slipstreams.


ps when i find an excuse to change the tyres i'll put 45's

just bolt them on the hubs

classic referring to your point lol can i use my steelies bolts with them being vauxhall alloys :O

i used my original bolts when i put my new rims on, the garage said it would be ok. haven't had any adverse effects

What filler would i use on alloys (for kerb marks ect) ............ and can i buy anthracite in a can........ or do i just buy a paint such as find the code for clio sprot alloys paint

i got 4 cav wheels sprayed dark graphite for £55 off ebay picked them up last week they have four ok tread tyres (205/55/15)

i was well chuffed
