The real owner of the Escort must surely be either dead, in prison, in hiding, or on a witness protection plan.

I mean - people just don't leave rare, valuable and desirable performance cars laying around like so much scrap for any Tom, Dick or Harry to claim as his own.

If i'd pulled off a scam like that, I would keep it to my bloody self, I wouldn't tell anyone, not a bleedin' soul, and I certainly wouldn't go broadcasting it on sodding PassionFord.

I'd change the registration number, and tell anyone that asked that i'd taken out a loan and bought it from the other end of the country.

The bloke must have a deathwish.
