been for a test drive in one today, it was only a UK spec dc2 but i really want it now. Only downside is that its red, ideally i wanted white but this one is much a bargain in my opinion.
50k miles, serviced by honda every 7k, not a mark on it.
I am 20 and have nearly got 3 years no claims but most insurance companies are trying to bend me over with anything from 2-5k a year
Best quote i have so far as 1700. just wondering if anyone has any companies in mind who are good with young males and quick cars?????

Flux is getting back to me at some point tonight
Liverpool victoria are getting back to me tomorrow
quin-direct wont insure me on a group 18 car

To be honest i have tried a large percentage of those listed on this site.
I dont care if the insurance company is rubbish, just needs to be cheap. This is because i will be taking out a deal with GAP; if i crash the car or whatever, GAP will make up the difference in price from what the insurers pay out and what i actually paid for the car.

Sorry for the essay but i really want this car.

Many thanks, Steve

1700 aint too bad considering your age, and also considering people on here pay the same on a 1.2 corsa - simply because of age - only other people i would suggest are brentacre

whats GAP btw?

if it came to it i think i would pay the 1700, just seems like alot of cash compared to what i am used to paying. Just seeing if i had missed an amazing insurance company while ringing through all the rest.
Not too clued up on gap as of yet, need to do some research into it. A few minutes ago i spoke to an old friend who said he got offered it when he bought a focus rs

lovely cars...i'm just going to have one last effort filling in online quotes and then will probably take the 1700.
Everyones telling me to finish my corsa but to be honest i want a car thats quick as standard, practical, will hold its value quite well and one where i dont have to worry about leaving anywhere

GAP insurance means you get the money back that you paid for it should anything happen, not the current market value
