right... heres the story...

just finished doing a conversion on my corsa..put a c16xe in, and now my insurace and tax has ran out.

how do i go about getting it back on the road, declaring it as a 1.6 ?

mot?
changing the v5 etc.....

just send the DVLA the v5 with the new details on it.. get it mot'd then tax it as normal..

does it not need to go through some sort of scruitnised mot or somthing some sort of VOSA check ???

you just need a garage to sign off the work and give u a lil letter saying the enginewas fitted correctly then u send it off with ur v5 .well thats wot i ahd 2 do last time i done a conversion.

go to a garage and ask them to check it over?

take it that its a special garage?
