Vauxhall are recalling corsas and tigras that were registered between sept 04 and sept 05 (not 100% on dates tho) they have a fault ABS sensor, email vauxhall or contact ure local vauxhall dealer to find if you car is effected.
it has caused a few accidents with the brakes failing, take it in to ure dealer and they will sort it for you asap.
just though id let you all know.

lol NONE have caused accidents
all it is is moisture in the abs wiring causing the earths to overheat with the chance (slim) of catching fire
166,000 are affected
All we do is remove the earth terminals and solder them thats all
unless there is moisture present in the abs connector then it requires a new loom
I would be more worried about the number of steering racks we are fitting and worn gear linkages!!!
not to mention the amount of corsa c's with broken coil springs
I had to fit 5 last week

thats utter shite.
all it is, is there is an earthing point on the nsf behind the bumper, they are removed and skimmed over with solder then covered with heat shrink.
you can identify if it has been done by a green dot on the abs modulator.
like burgess says, gear linkages and steering racks are more concerning, as well as ARB bushes!!

arb bushes are more annoying than anything else!
I have had to buy a female torx ratchet spanner to make that job easier!!!!
noticed a few merivas and c's are snapping the anti roll bar alsowhere the linkage attaches!

its just what i heard from a mate, apparantly is was in the newspaper about a week or so ago.
i aint technically minded, so how would i know that it wouldent cause damage, as far as im aware, ABS is related to the breaks, and if theres a problem with the ABS could cause failure to breaks, i just put two and two together.
