I’ve just bought Total Vauxhall and read the issue on Chris (turbo Chris) and char's (good friends of ours) Corsa turbo that took best car for mig last year at billing and the lad who has got it now has completely LIED about everything The write up is just so annoying when the facts are completely different.
I’m even mates with the lad who had the car from standard and I know the 2nd owner who first put a 2.0L in it before Chris and char put a turbo init and the guy in the mag states he’s had the car from standard
Has anyone else read it? and what are there veiws towards it?
I dont see how someone can have to cheek to broadcast false truth like that
No fault to total vauxhall but the guy should'nt of issued a car that he DID NOT build.

TV have a habit of getting facts wrong it seems, when the guy was writing up my car for the national meet, I saw him note 40mm lowered and it appears with -60.
Not as big a thing I know but might not be all the lad who owns the car telling porkies.

Yeah I noticed that. If I sold my car on then it was mag featured and the current owner said he did all the work on it I would be very pissed off

Its chris small?? the owner after byron?
I was reading the mag last week and thought..........he's carried out all the mods Has he......I've seen it forsale on here once or twice and it did change owners, so how he can claim all the glory is beyond me.
Never lie, truth comes back to haunt you!
Unless total vaux have made a mistake but i didnt read it that way.

Granted Col, but what would the new owner have said to Total Vauxhall?
'I bought it like that'...Makes a great bulky feature that does doesnt it?
OK, he HAD to lie and bend the tructh otherwise there would have been no writing, just pictures. lol
Fair play to him, I think he deserved a feature, not for building it, but for slowly ironing out the list of problems and bodges on it.
Regal might as well get a massive thanks as the car is always in there having work done.
Im not agreeing that he should have blagged it completely like he did, but thats life.

There have been other features in TV in the past where people have said they bought it like that and their features were allright!
It looks the same to me as it was when it was sold?

Yeah, that he bought it and ironed out all the problems with it, that would have been a much better read than utter bullsh1t he has come out with.

Mags in general have a problem with getting things wrong
Stubbsy's asked the writer to specifically not put too much shit or swearing in there, when it came out it was terrible
also they kept callinghim Justin Stubbs (instead of Duncan)
Jaffa's had numerous mistakes
The writers tend to pick up on the slightest points as well and completely blow themo ut of proportion - the guy could have said he'd done the work which has been carried out since he owned it - but they picked up on "he'd done the work"

It should'nt be in the mag!
If you read, my point is.... if you dont build a car then you should'nt feature a car cos the whole point of a feature is a reward to ALL the hard work that you have put into your pride and joy.
personally im at him and regardless what other people think, i could'nt do it, its embarassing
