It has come to our attention that you may be the recipient of potentially
unauthorised funds. We have initiated an investigation into this event. In the
meantime, we have placed a temporary hold on the funds in question until the
investigation is complete. This temporary hold will show as a deduction in your
available balance. In the meantime, you are free to continue transacting using
your PayPal account.

1. The item, service or purpose of the purchase, and the associated value.
2. The name and address given to you by the sender (if an item was purchased);
3. If posted, the company used for postage, date of postage, and tracking
number for the delivery.
4. Details of any other transactions related to the transaction(s) in question;
5. A phone number where you can be reached during the day and evening; and
6. Insurance information, if applicable

hmmm...okay....just send the information requested...put as much details as possible...

Also be sure to do this in your paypal account...never reply directly to the mail...

if the claim has been initiated by the buyer, then he will more likely lose it...try contacting him directly...phone him and talk to him

Happened to me couple of months back...

£170 sent off the stuff... day later i get the exact same e-mail...

basically you won't be getting your money back and you have also lost the thing you sent...

Paypal say they are looking into it but they don't reply to your e-mails and after their investigation is over u get an e-mail saying they have finished and thats the end of it...

if his account has been hacked into...at least you know to which address you sent the item since it was a Special Delivery next day.

then at least you know where your item is.

Try contacting the buyer and explain to him what's going on.

Did you post to the address specified on his Paypal Payment?
