there's more to the cupra name then fancy bumpers and big rims tho isnt there, theres loads more to it then the lower spec models to earn it the name, the brakes, handling, gearbox, engine output, plus all the interior spec etc etc
The lower spec dont handle aswell down to the dampners/springs/anti roll bar being different, plus the tyres having larger side walls also.
The R has 4 pots, 6 speed, and greate engine output as standard and when remapped, plus a nicer interior.
yes thats why its a cupra R and your forgetting the fact it costs around 5k more so id expect a few improvements tbh
some of those points you made dont make sense?
yes the R has 4 pots which are desirable. mine has 6spd, also a not
bad output as standard and great when remapped, i dont think the interiors are nicer, seen sum cupra r's interior and preffered mine! pic

it has the optional £1300 leather upgrade.
so is a cupra r better? yes, is it 5k better? no not IMO

Looks good, as the majority say though wheels are shocking.

I can understand getting a noirmal cupra. seat did balls up a bit by not styling it well but the MY03 on ones are nice on the outside. MY03 bumpers and skirts makea huge difference. never a fan of the wheels though.
