My Little beast did me proud today, on a slight decline

that was all it was doing
n before people state the obvious the rev counter dont work n i dont think the temp does but im booked in to check it out

Why isn't the rev counter at the redline where it should be at those speeds in a 1.2?

in fact you will struggle to get the rev counter over 5kRPM in 5th, you will hit redline in 4th and actually be going faster than if you were maxing out in 5th

if thats in 5th gear, then your speedo is reading out since top speed is attained in 4th

hit 112mph in the old 1.2 8v on a straight bit of runway and that was in 5th gear

Yeah thats nothing, I had an indicated 110mph in my 1.2 8v! Was on a decline though, the wipers were flying all over the shop

you do realise that if u was to be targetd by a mobile gatso thing at that speed it would only actually be about 95ish?
