i was (trying to) listening to the teacher babble on about Netware 6.2 servers, and he mentioned a utility called SMB. I creased up laughing, forgot where i was and mumbled Suck My Balls, only too loudly so the people around me heard and started laughing. It was goooooooooooooooooooooood banter

Reminds me of my college days when a particularly strict and hated lecturer got comprehensively laughed at for repeatedly referencing a 'rotating member' during class.

Samba is the UNIX implementation of SMB. Windows uses the same protocol but it's slightly modified (as Microsoft always do) and dubbed CIFS (NTLM).
