Going to refurb my wheels tomorrow as i feel i havent been giving the car as much attention as I should have been. Don't suppose anyone knows what colour the Rallye steels come originally, its got to be either Biance or Arctic white. I know Iaz has refurbed some before, don't know if anyone else can enlighten me

Same colour as the car? Can you not take the paint code from the car and use that?

i had mine refurbed recently

then was later told after the paint started to flake that i should have got them sandblasted or glass beaded first

glass beading would be better as i do this in work it will give you a smoother finish

but even then the paint will flake and you should powder coat them

sorry for the essay but i hope this will help

How long do they usually last without flaking? I know alot of people refurb there wheels themselves on here and I can't see it being such a big issue otherwise why would anyone?
