whats confusing you? theres a trap with dogs in it each has a number, you choose the number or name of the dog you think will win and your stake, the dogs then chase a fake rabbit round a track and you shout 'go number 2' for example and thats basically it

I went for the first time a few weeks back. Went with a tenner, came home with £50...
The way I did it was to do safer, more expensive bets called trio all ways.
Basically, you wait until about 1 min to before the race starts, check the odds on the screen for the most popular trio's, if there are 3 dogs that look to be coming in 1st 2nd and 3rd then put a bet on them. That way they can come in in any order and you will still win, however, you don't win so much.
There are other types of bets too...
Trio - you have to predict the first 4 dogs over the line and which order.
Winner - predict the winner
First and Second - predict the dogs to come in first and second place.
You should get a piece of paper from the bookie telling you all the different types of bets when you get there...

Bet on trap number 2 all night, I bet you go home with more money than you went with.
