MRP's are loaded with carbs, and fat. But again, it's fluid. I already get 3 meals from fluid. Scrawny runts who dont eat real food and just neck supplements all day will stay scrawny runts. I see it in the gym all the time, after months and months of training people still look the same and are still lifting the same weights - why bother? It's all about nutrition.

Creatine is crap. I do use whey protein. You should never build a good diet around fluids though. That's why they're called supplements - to supplement a good diet. I have 4 meals a day from solid foods and 3 from whey powder.

what whey protein do you use, ive been using "on wheys 100% gold standard" nearly ran out of a 5lb tub, looking to buy either another one of them as it seemed pretty good, or something else not sure what though, as its quite expensive lol

I dont know much tbh but i was under the impression the 3 best times for whey protein is right after a workout when u need it for recovery and growth. Then first thing in the morning because your levels are so down and then right before you go to bed at night as your body is about to spend a long period of time without protein and can incur protein breakdown.... but i think the later applies mainly to using whey protein as a form of building muscle as protein breakdown isnt bad at night but is when you want to increase mass... Craig, this right lol?

Thats's when i consume my 3 meals from whey. As soon as i wake up, straight after training, and before bed. The most important time imo is straight after training.

ssj_kakarot - that's the exact stuff i use. I pay £28 for the big tub and it usually lasts me around a week and a half.

do you get it from a shop or online, cheapest place i could find was ebay, £35 bit steep when your a student lol.

i did a lot of research and most people tended to say this stuff was the best mind, so ill probs stick with it.

5lb tub has lasted me bout a month just over lol i was taking 2 shakes a day, 1 and a half scoops in each shake.

was thinking about adding another shake before i go to bed mind.

Craig,

Nice posts btw.

Im just wondering how you see this regime long term mate. When I was younger we didnt have this sort of sports 'science' going on.

I was semi pro BMX and spent every waking minute training/practicing....now some many moons later im suffering big time for it

I loved it then, somewhat regret wearing all my joints out now

Jules, i'll continue until i can continue no more lol. As sad as it sounds, the gym/bodybuilding is my life now. Everything revolves around it. The hour in the gym lifting is the easy part, it's the other 23 hours in the day thats hard. Eating every few hours isn't as easy as it sounds.
To be honest im not loking to much into the future, it helps me to be bigger than average for my professions. With the career path ive taken, with how the wold is in this day and age, i don't exepct to be living until im old and grey anyhow. So i'll always train, and whilst i'm training i'll always be living to the clock.

ssj_kakarot - yeah thats why people don't put on muscle. Tearing down muscle fibres is the easy task, feeding them to repair and grow is the difficult task
