crock of shit.
they broke for lunch as soon as i arrived, then started about half an hour late after lunch
supposed to kick off again at 1.30.
my first run was at 3pm

started queing for next and a hail storm descended
they made it quite clear that they were done for the day, so i collected my solitary slip and fucked off home.

very unimpressed.

time was bad. fucked up the start big time. wasn't even sure if i had it in gear because it didn't move when i launched
15.6, but it felt strong with the new engine. should be able to get in 14's now. was up against a camaro z28 which did 13.997 at 100mph

saw Gaz'D from a distance, but he looked like he was leaving quite early.
jet car did 6.2

someone else asked in the office when i was getting my slip about a refund, but they said if you've run at all then you have no chance.
something to do with insurance apparently

next one is may 1st Chris. I'd like to go but it may be even busier because it's a bank holiday weekend.

Depends on the start and how the power is delivered Dave. You could fluff the start but still get to 100mph because the car is quick, but the time is different to if you had a less powerful car and put the power down more smoothly. Its not an exact science.
