as the title says, is it possable?
for example, making et38 into et49?

it is possible depending on the thickness of the alloy where the bolts go through and u need a big enough lathe and u need to know how u use it properly. lol way too much hassle...

got a lathe big enough, and can use it, that why i asked 
just wondering if et38 means there is more metal on than et49, that way i could machine it down, if its the other way around, i cant add the metal.

the lower the number, the more metal. Imagine a line through the middle of the rim, say its 7 inches wide your line is gonna be 3.5 inches in. From that line to the back of the wheel where the bolts come through is your offset.

but you will also make the metal surrounding the boltholes thinner which makes the wheel weaker.

will be re drilling the holed to the correct pcd 
so will levae enough metal when i c/bore the holes for the bolts

those rims are delicious.
i'd say it was well worth it. unless you can buy them in the correct spec already
