I drove into a tree on my driveway recently in my phase 1 306 and managed to crack the bumper in 2 places, crack a headlight, pull both wings in and now the bonnet dont sit right!!!
I was gonna claim off my insurance and maybe get a phase 3 upgrade, to do this you need new wings, bonnet, bumper, headlights, slampanel & grill this proved to be VERY expensive so decided against it BUT, i have just done a deal on all the above second hand for £300, the bonnets got its badge recess welded over and the indicators have been removed form the wings!!! So how much for a front end re-spray in white do you think. cos im gonna pay for all this myself now

Surely if i talk nicely to the bodyshop they will fit and spray the parts, its at no loss to them or the insrance company? infact it will probably save money so i could get it colour coded at same time?

speak to the bodyshop doing it, if they are friendly good chance you could get it done as long as parts are decent quality

But do they have to know, the assesor only sees the vehicle to assess the damage, once the repairs go ahead you can do what ya like surely, if they gotta replace them parts anyway why not replace them with what i got
