Do any of your seem really fuckin springy , i.e the bonnet comes up pretty fast , shaking the car ?

sure you've got bonnet and not boot lifters? Boot ones are generally more powerful...

I have them on a 1.2 8v, just because im a lazy fuck, that and I almost knocked myself out with the bonnet.

if you turn them the other way round, they tend to spring less

i had some on my 1.2 8v just made it easy to work on etc.... i did find that they rattled alot tho. you can just see them in this pic
