Had my 'C' SXi for a week now, and already managed to rack up 500 miles!!!

Not been the best 1st week of ownership thought tbh

Day 2:- Fox runs straight out in front of my car as I turn into a side road (I'm unable to stop before hitting it)

Get out to find fox has buggered off, quick inspection of car in dark reveals black splitter on bumper hanging off and bottom of bumper now "flaps".

Day 3:- Get up and see car in daylight after last night - realise he has also ripped nearside wheel arch off - 2 clips buggered

Day 4:- Decide to try and get rid of the sewing machine noise with a bit of airbox butchery!! Remove the restricting bit of plastic from bottom of airbox (little pipe thing) No difference in noise though!

Day 7:- EVENTFUL DAY!!!! Another day of boredom means that the airbox is attacked again restricting pipe within inside of airbox is cut off and cold air intake is attacked!! Slight improvement finally! Now gotta order myself a Panel Filter and backbox!

Also remove bumper to change sidelights to ultra white LED jobbies - huge improvement - Pics to follow

But once bumper is off, it reveals that Mr Foxy also decided to dent the bottom of my radiator

And as if this wasnt bad enough, on way home I manage to get a puncture in 1 of my almost brand new tyres!!!! So have had to drive around at 50mph on a fooking steelie making my car look like an "AccuRead" car!!!!

Sorry for the rant! However, on the plus side, I have now got loads of mods planned, Irmscher springs should hopefully be on their way very soon And a new tyre hopefully by the end of the week!!

better to happen now than to happen after you've done mods and have no money

I've done 6,000 in 4 months. It's nothing really.

Its very economical though - £35 = Full tank = 400 Miles before red light on! But no, not best start at all Hoping once I've resolved all the probs this week, that will be it, the mods can begin and I can be a happy SXi owner!
