bloody disgrace! Will be ringing tomorrow and get him to sort it out.

Worse thing about it is that its my dad's mates bodyshop who's done it!

well i wouldnt take my car back unless they had admitted responsibility and agreed in writing to get a new wheel or repair the damaged one.

always check over ur whole car before u take it away, i am a paint sprayer and its sad to say that things like this do happen often!

they may now be able to say u have done it after u took it away from the premises!

I was having problems with my car running really rich - Tried everything to fix it but in the end gave up and let a mechanic have it

I got it back 4 months later (only problem was the ECU had corrupted itself - new ECU and shazam it worked fine)

anyway after 4 months I was getting pissed off so went with my dad and uncle to pick it up - went with car trailer expecting the worst

my car was sat covered in shit - hadnt been cleaned in the 4 months he had it, two wheels were curbed right round the rim, the drivers door was dented and had no paint on the edge where it had been opened into a door, my Air box was missing, front bumper was cracked, wiper had been snapped off!! numeroous other issues

What was worse a week later I had a solicitors letter instructing me that if I did not pay him £580 then I would be liable for court proceedings - I was ready to rip his head off

needless to say we sorted it (legally) and I never paid a penny - still out of pocket cause I had to pay for the damage

Mechanic moved to Scotland shortly after!
