To say im happy is an understatement, basically ever since ive had my engine in, in ocotober ive had the Engine Management light on everytime i boot the car and it felt like it was holding it back...I tried the paperclip test said EGR buy a new EGR still the same

I was using a differnt ECU to the one supplied with the engine because the one supplied i never had the chip or transponder ring for

However, today the transponder and chip finally came for the original ECU, fitted it went for a drive and bloody hell what a difference, car pulls for low down rather than bogging down, no flat spots and pulls right through the rev range and is certainly quicker than it was before, for one it wheel spins into 3rd bit chavish i know

Anyway just thought id let you know that this has made my month, because so many times ive wanted to get rid of the thing because of the little orange light on the dash !!

Glad you got it sorted! Have had similar annoying problems with my engine in the past and feels good when you get it all running smoothly again

I havent driven a car without the orange light for over a year

Robin what colour or the plugs on your ECU ?

glad you got it sorted rob , for some reason my eml hasnt come on since i had the inlet fitted , not really sure why not that im moaning . what bhp is it running at rob . have you had it on a rr .

it was RR'ed at 123 bhp by the previous owner ive got a de-cat and a viper extra so maybe 125 bhp if im lucky...

im running same as you apart from the decat though i have a 4-2-1 . il be happy to be running at that but may consider a de-cat just to cut out that last bit of restriction . btw thanks for keeping me informed over the cover mate .

You know what Rob, I reckon thats why my Nova was'nt as fast as what it was supposed to be because of that ECU, it was only ever running 16.4 up the Pod yet Rob Lee's was much faster.
