My opinion is that Liverpool would buy lots of top players if they had the money, I had to use an unrealistic example to get my point across, I have a nack of breaking people's viewpoints down into nice short summaries and from what your telling me is that if they had this investment and enough was left over for players, then the morals would fly out of the window, I am a Celtic fan, but I take a big interest in Corinthians Paulista in the Brazilian Primera League, and they are going through the same thing, a London based firm called MSI give Corinthians money for players transfers and fund everything, now they have Tevez, Nilmar, Ricardinho, Seba, Deco is considering going there when his Barcelona contract runs out as he was born 4 miles from paulista and loves the club, money talks after it his put in place.

I'd like to see Liverpool getting some glory I like Gerrard, Carragher, Cisse, Luis garcia, Alonso, watching Chelsea rant n rave everyweek because a ref caught them cheating is boring.

p.s. the spanish people have branded Barcelona with a new nickname, 'batidoras de tramposo' = Cheater Beater.

No, what I said is that IF they had the backing of a billionaire who would throw money at the club like Abromovich (which is not what we will have) then we COULD have the backing to buy any players who became available.

BUT the buyer will NOT be the kind of owner who will just throw money to the manager and tell him to buy who he wants, nor is Benitez the kind of manager who will just buy anyone. He has often pulled out of buying players as said he only wants to pay realistic prices (he refused to buy Figo, Simao, SWP, etc.) as they were all over priced in his opinion even though the money was there to buy them.

So yes if some big backing came in we would have money to spend, but like Ive said before it will only get spent in moderation to add to the current squad (as in strikers and a winger, with people going the other way to bring money in). But we would probably spend no more than 40-50mil which is what Utd or similar would spend a season.

Clubs r all gonna go this way sooner or later, as long as it makes us a stronger club i'm not that bothered infact it could be a very good thing. As long as we don't turn into chelsea and start buying players just so others can't

At the end of the day if all the clubs go this way then money won't talk so much.... as all of them will have it
