I know this question has been asked before, but can never get straight foward answers. I have bought side skirts for my corsa B, they're are simlar style to the gsi ones, they sit over the rear arch abit, and have a kind of M3 twist, but they look like the gsi style, they're are made of very light fibreglass and they don't sit low at all to the ground, you prob know the one's i'm on about. Anhow i'm going to paint them tomorrow and hopefully get them fitted the day after. I don't fancy using clips to attach the skirts because of usual reasons, rust from holes, hard to line up clips, etc.
Where excatly should i put the tiger seal along the sill? I gather that i don't want to use it to high up as i think it could squide (sp?) up on the door, arches where it can been seen when side skirt is pressed on.
Do i use a strip of the sealent all the way along the sill or only in places here and there?
Any finally what is the best way to keep the skirt in place when the sealent is drying? I'm thinking clamps, but i've only got one? Can anything else be used?
I intend to put a few self tapers in each arch also to help it stay on. Would really appericate some straight foward answers to these question, for i'll be fitting the first skirt in a couple of days. Anyone also give me any tips or advice how they have done it before. Thanks lads

yes...ductape is plently strong enough..
tiger seal take a few days to set fully. put as much on as you can
apply it to the raised most part of the skirts as you'll find there hollow in the centre anyway..
does that help?
