How do you connect using a broadband ADSL router, if your a silver user??
AOL wont give any user support!!!

yes i know its not geek day, but i need help quick!
Ive used the username and password (as far as ive been told) but it doesnt seem to want to connect

i take it youve got filters on the line, and the router or modem is configured correctly?

defo mate, was using a mdoem working fine, cant get router to connect to AOL tho!

is the router connected to the modem? or is the router definatly an ADSL router with built in modem?

its cool i figured it out, Had to use everything in lowercase and i had put capital as it was a name, habbit.

log into your router control panel and set up your connection, choose PPPoA and then type your aol user name / password , click connect. done ! you can browse without that shitty aol browser or log in screen
