my car (corsa b 1.2i 1996) has been making a wurring noise, kinda like a plane taking off, it gets louder with the revs. bin like that for months now. i noticed it wen i changed my fan belt. the old one was shagged so could it just be a normal noise?but cuz the ova1 was shagged i couldnt here it??

well ive checked that n it didnt seem TOO tite, wud it fuck the alternator?

It would as its working the alternator too hard

Well if its not the fanbelt making the noise its the altenator.

i fitted a new fanbelt not long ago (v-groove type)
it made a loud whirring noise whilst it was bedding in

used to sound like a supercharger down the street lol
