My cousin decided he wanted to put some miles on his car, so i thought i'd tag along for the journey....
He picked me up from sheffield and went up onto the yorkshire moors before going on to middlesbrough:
we had a nite over in Newcastle and then decided to drive to the scottish border on saturday morning:
I did do some videos, but only one came out with a decent sound :

As for my opinion on the car, well i thought it was brilliant. You never get bored of the sound, especially on full chat. The 4 wheel drive is excellent and helps the car keep unreal grip around damp corners.... The car isn't 'chuck you in the seat' fast, but it is progressivly fast and you can be sitting at 100 without realising....
You probably arn't that interested, but i had taken some pics so i thought i'd post them up !!!

My dads got the old one, with private plate, he test drove the new one, but we didnt like all the auto gears, n the auto stick, didnt feel as quick, my dads is chipped now, but hey i love golf's and its an amazing car

I don't actually know how much he paid for it, cos i'm not sure what options he had on it....
This is the 6 speed manual and for the very small amount of time i drove it, it was very smooth and precise...
As for the video, its a .3GP file from my phone, so i think you will need Realplayer to play it !!!
