use a sock in a sawing motion it should dislodge the clip

if you have a lot of grief take them off you can buy the trim tool for £4-5 that will do the job

but then realised my winders were black and the one i got was grey so i need a black one now
but atleast the end of it dont come off every time ur turning the winder
