Well after owning the Corsa for just over 3 years its gone to a new home in Newport. A 17 year old who's parents wouldn't let him buy a Saxo VTR because it was to powerful (He hasn't passed him driving test yet).
I sold it for £3400 which I think is a very good price for the car. I bought it for £4100 back in January 2003 but I've spend a good few thousand pounds on it since then!
I got the most interest through eBay mainly because it was a 99p no reserve auction. Most of the questions were 'how much do you want for the car'. Auto trader wasn't much help although I think the price scared alot of people away.
Here's one final pic that I took before the new owner collected it

Anyway I've now got an Astra coupe which is so much better to drive compared to the Corsa, a nice smooth short shift gear box with a bit of power to go with it.
Here's the new car;

Correct, 1.8 SE2. The only modifaction I'm doing is a set of Eibach 30mm springs....until the modding bug comes back

good choice, the interior makes it worthwhile
only thing they could do with is a bit more power
also, check the rear spoiler, make sure its a genuine one, some arent, and they rub on the rear wings and take the paint off.....

This is the interior

The car was originally owned by the wife of a Vauxhall dealer, it only did did 3500 miles in 1 1/2 years

I paid £7200 for the Astra with 23,000 miles on the clock. Had a few extra bits like Irmscher grill, induction kit and touch screen cd player.
I was sad to see the Corsa go but I went out for a spin in the Astra and it put a smile back on my face
