PS you serious about scary monkeys?

Yeah mate.

They not scary, just funny.

They are fat and have no tales.

They're real characters and are hilarious to watch.

They will come right up to you and nick your grub though.

I've always wanted to go to Gibraltar, but never had the dough.

Say hello to the minkees from me.

They can sense plastic food and will knife attack anyone attempting to fool them with it.

They're deadly with a bat aswell, and are proficient at disarming people with bats.

I spent the day in Gibraltar last time I was in Cádiz, beautiful place and strange cos its right at the south of spain but its a bit like being back home! One of my mates lives there so if you are interested in finding out some less touristy things to do then get in touch and ill have a word with him. And as people have said, watch out for the monkeys

I've been to Gibralter for a day when i was in Spain, was quite nice. Its worth going up the rock in one of the little minibus things on a tour to see the monkeys ETC. Town centre is a bit odd as its got all English shops like Marks and Spencer and BHS and all that.

fucking awsome place

got mates over there and go over every year for a weeks piss up with them.

locals are great and really friendly if you give them some respect
weather is awesome especially june-september
alcohol and food is dirt cheap
great party atmosphere in all the clubs, bars etc
women are fucking gorgeous and well friendly
currency is punds sterling so you aint even gotta knob round with changing money before you go

also loads of history involving wars, the rock etc and if youre into learning about stuff like this you'll love the rock national park

i would reccomend it as a holiday to anyone and i love it. i will definitely be moving there when im a little older

Actually they are barbary apes (sp) and yes they roam free, and are fed daily by the british troops stationed there. They say that if the barbary apes leave the rock, then that is the day the British will leave.Make a point of going up the rock as the views are good & you get to see the apes.
Also worth a look is St. Michaels cave & the gun battery gallery (i think thats what its called). There is a lighthouse on one side of the rock that on a good day you can see north africa from.
