Im sure you could knock up some base plates using your current ones as a base.

Personally I would keep the stock mirrors.

i'd fit them, i know original is cool, but standard nova mirrors are as well designed as a tissue box

They are very common on Corsa As (novas) over here! People mount them down on the door and then blank of the old baseplate! Looks alright I suppose, though I prefer the original!
