i found one in an old wallet just now, hoping to spend it, but if i cant, what do i need to do with it, can i take it somewhere and swap it for a new one?

take it the bank and will swap it, but most places wont even recognise and will take it!

You can take them to the bank if i remember correctly and they wil change it because no where accept them now

Don't know whether they're legal tender, but...

If you can't spend it, take it to the bank and get it changed there.

its not urgent anyway, not like its the only tenner i had, which is lucky i suppose

i'll try to spend it tomorrow, and if i cant, i'll take it to the bank

Quite right, Bank may not accpet but send it to the BofE and they have to, can speak for the system to as I had to do it once
