I know its not a corsa, but any help is appreciated.
I bought a 6 month old 206 on 01/11/05 and had it a week before the oil light came on, the exhaust rattled and the gears felt clunky. I took it back on 17/11/05 and the dealer looked at it (they were the only previous owners). they sorted the gears, but nothing else. i took it back on 13/01/06 to have the remaining problems sorted, at that point they told me i neede a new exhaust and they have replaced the oil sensor. I was told to re-book it for the 13/02/06 when they had the part and a courtesy car (the oil light hadnt been sorted)
On 08/02/06 i was driving along and the engie cut out. The steering locked and the brakes wouldnt stop so i hit a curb at about 40 mph. It was the passenger side tyre and the enghine that got all of the impact. after arguing with peugeot about them paying for the repairs for a week they admitted liability. It has now been a month and i have just been told that they are waiting for a 'pre-tensioner' (means nothing to me because i know nothing about cars) which was ordered for 06/03/06.
Would anyone know where i stand legally (about getting any money back from the garage) because i spent my money to buy a car that worked, not a 6 month old car that cuts out etc??? I didnt buy the car on HP so i cant stop the payments. They havent left me imobile as they have 'kindly' given me a 1.4 1007 HDI.
Sorry about the essay
