no negative comments slagging off me or my choice of car, just compare the following pleas, such as spec, engine model, 0-60, value for money, tuning possiblities etc
1) 1.8 mk4 astra sport
2) 1.8 mk4 astra sri
3) 1.8 astra coupe
im led to believe the 1.8 sri has the Z18XE1 engine, 123bhp, 125 lbf.ft torque, 0-60 in 8.5 and top speed of 127 mph.
and the coupe has the same engine but is one insurance group higher, and can reach 130mph.
do they have the same interior and extras such as e/w, c/l, abs etc ??
which are you more likely to find with the optional irmscher styling?
Also... it looks like you can get a decent sri for £3000, wheres the coupes seem to be more like £6000. is there any point in paying so much more?
Can the engine be tuned much ? and will injectors from an old 1.8 engine non ecotec fit it?

not much difference mate. looks is the only thing in question really.
the 2.0 is an extra £1000 to insure so it has to be the 1.8

i'd go for the sri, £3000 is a big difference just for a coupe.
