sold a car 7-8 months ago and had reminder about tax,

i told them ages ago who the new owner is

Did u send off the v5 to them when u sold the car? They might of not recieved it, u normally get a letter thru saying they received it

If you got a letter through to confirm change of owner, it states on there somewhere that you just ignore the tax reminders.

i got my letter off them when i sold my corsa, 3 weeks after i sold the car.

the tax letter is printed 6 weeks, so any changes inbetween this time will not effect it.

but you should have had a letter.
