Short story... We changed our car wih Admiral to the polo when he had 3 months left of the policy and got a 40 quid refund as it was a cheaper car to insure. Policy with Admiral has ended and on the 25th Feb we took a new policy out with Elephant as they were 100 quid cheaper. Elephant emailed us today saying they are now going to charge another 41 quid due to "Exterior Decorative changes" that we had not declared to them, but were declared on the previous policy with Admiral on the Polo. Now, it isnt modified at all, other than a Magic Tree air freshener and the only way i can see that they have come to this is that Admiral must have carried over the exterior changes to the audi onto the polo. This means we were being overcharged for the final 3 months of that policy and its making us look like we are lying to Elephant. To try and sort this problem we phoned Elephant at 8:50pm today and hung up at 9:45pm, without being answered at all and having to listen to Elton fucking John.
So pissed now, think i may ask to cancel the policy for a full refund and go elsewhere due to the crap service and lack of phone answering. Surely they cannot take the money tho without asking prior permission from us?

It gets worse.
We got another email from them telling us we have failed to supply them with proof of the no claims discount. They never asked us to supply them with proof, but yet in the first email regarding mods they said they checked the admiral policy, which shows the fact that we have 4yrs NCD. WTF are these people on. Going to email an official complaint regarding the poor service we are receiving.
