just found this bit of writing buy a local 16yr old who lives in my area. took me about 20mins to work out what it said. do schools theses days actually teach kids or just mush there brains up more than they ll ready are.

My Funniest Moment...

omg iv gt pure funi moments lol nd al of dem r wen me nd me m8s r b in bad asses lol lyk wen we gt rli rekd nd fel in brok lol nd wen we gt rekd n i fel sleep on eki nd dey 4t i wer ded lol nd wen me nd 2 of me m8s waged it on bk fees lol dey al rli funi lol


translated this means

oh my god i have pure funny moments. lol. and all of then are when me and my mates are being bad asses. like when we got really wreacked and fell in the brook.and when we got really wreaked and i fell asleep on eki.(eki is a local school) and they thought i was dead. and when me and two of my mates wagged it on the back feilds. lol they are all really funny.

Dear god.. i know loads of people that type things like that. It's really annoying because it takes about 10 minutes to relise what they are trying to say in a text

This irratates me, it really does because you know that 90% of 12-16 year olds write like this, but what I cannot understand is why they do it? Surely it takes just as long to type in that ridiculous text speak as what it does in normal plain and simple English.

So do I. Not only how they write but the way they behave. My nephew decided because he couldn't go to football to smash the kitchen window with his fist. He's like 11. So i had to go to hers to board up the window on Saturday night. Not something I wanted to do when I was chilling out but me Dad wouldn't go because he would have lost it with him.
