After a decent back up vehicle that i can chuck all sorts of crap in, so an estate, and tow the corsa with if needs be... any suggestions, gotta be cheap and reliable

escort td estate, im driving one now (well not right now) but its ace, good on fuel, its not a bad run arouind, absolutly battered! hardly anything works but its starts and runs

the vehicle doing the towing needs to be 1 and a half times the weight of whatever its pulling (car and trailor), i would imagine astra, XM and maybe sierra were all too light.

we use the escort to tow stuff, it has about 4 ton of junk in it so were alright

Work horse....with a RS bodykit & cossie wheels

Alternatively get a RWD one & you will be doing laps on the track in it, wont want to get back into the corsa
