Had a bit of a cleaning session today as it's not had a proper one for a few weeks:

Wash with Megs gold class and lambs wool wash mit
dry with megs water magnet
megs scratchx on a few areas
Full coat of AG SRP

Thats when I took the pics

Finished it off with Megs gold class wax

Think the pics show I need rear spacers and maybe a touch of lowering. Really like the new Seat caps for the wheels, big improvement IMO. Was gorgeous weather, could have been summer!!

How does it compare to your old Gti? (which was also v.nice)

I've been in my mate's Ibiza Cupra R (Dan, maybe called Ninja on SeatCupraNet) and it felt quick, but not that quick?

Hard to explain, maybe because it was more solid than my car - just didn't feel as quick, though looked down and we were doing 110 mph! It still pulled away from me though, but his isn't standard.

V.nice though - like the alloys and the black.

Oh. I thought his was an R? Doesn't he have an R badge on his front grill?

*just checked* yeh I think it is just a cupra

but with this spec

Engine:
1.8 20v Turbo
K03s turbo
Forge Motorsport Front Mounted Intercooler
Dynatwist Induction
Samco Turbo Intake Pipe
Samco Boost Hoses
Miltek Sports Down Pipe & Cat
Miltek Full Cat Back Exhaust
Forge 007p Recirc Dump Valve

he needs to get a remap

180bhp is standard for an ibiza cupra 2002 +

150bhp is std for an ibiza cupra <2002

with am FMIC and k03s he shold be seeing 220+ with a good remap.

R's only came in red, black or yellow and only 70 in the country so v rare.

Supposed to be 180bhp standard but mine and another both made over 190bhp on the rollers.

Plan on getting it mapped in summer, just deciding which to go for.

i never take rolling road figures as being accurate, imo rolling roads are only any good for mapping on the same day to compare differences.

Many factors can swing a rolling road figure, and thats if the RR place has calibrated it properly in the first place, most places dont.
