Hey seen a 1.4 SXI and loved it so getting it!
Any tips on making it sound slightly nicer/more throaty. Not like it has a performance exhaust on it, but a nicer sound?

So, if I try running the car without the airbox and filter etc it will give me an idea of what it will sound like if I drill holes?

Wont doing this run the risk of sucking in dirt and rubbish and damage the engine??

The new 1.4's don't sound like the old 1.4 16v's due to new inlet.
So if I was you get a nice subtle exhaust and leave it at that. Induction kits unless enclosed are a complete waste of money.

Yeah, I heard induction kits are useless. It sounds okay I gues,s but thought maybe make it sound a litle nicer. I dont want it to be loud and boyracey, I hate that. I want the sound to sound like I havent modded it but when people hear they say "oo that sounds nice! lol
