i am wanting to spray my front and rear lights how black can you go and still be able to pass a mot with it? can it be this black cheers

but how dark can you can i am gonna spray them and do it but would like it quite dark to go with rest of car

if your going to do them as above i would say they are ok . there is no actual test on an mot or anything to judge the amount of light , its the mots testers decision . as long as you can see the colour of the lights ok your fine . .i wouldnt go any darker at the front than that though

i got some tinting spray from motorworld for £10 and it went from this

to this

im not too sure about the MOT but i will soon see if it fails lol

The reflectors on the rear still have to reflect, IIRC. Not sure if tinting will affect that.

go dark as long as u can see the lights when they are switched on then its ok.

oh yea make sure reflectors are still clear but aslong as u can see the lights when they are on its no problem. we used to pass them with tinted lights etc.
