I bought this at the start of the week.... (monday)

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7593520190

Sale Price (LISTED) as BuyItNow

£23.22

Delivery

£0.15

Payed via PayPal as soon as I bought it...

BUT I came home today to find this waiting for me in my inbox...

Dear Customer

I'm really sorry to have to inform you that there has been a clerical error in the listing price of the traxdata cards on ebay. It seems the pricing has been incorrectly input on ebay, thus the pricing you have paid has been incorrect.

The item you purchased was 1 x Traxdata x60 Transfer Rate SD Card 1gb priced at £23.22 each + postage.

The actual price these items should have been is £42.20 each + £0.15 postage each.

I will of course offer a full refund should you wish to not continue with this sale.

My apologies as this service has not been of the high standards i expect from my company.

Regards
Scott Kerr

Now surely there obligated to sell me the goods at the price I paid, and the price in which they advertised them yes?? They can't do this surely??

I suppose a refund and neg. feedback is an option for me to take, but I dont care I want the damn card!

I wouldnt trust them tbh, they could send the exact same e-mail to 10 people who have bought it for the price you payed, and then some people will pay them the extra and some will think that it is a scam

well the going rate was similiar to other items advertised, so i went for this one being in Chorley...

But I dont know what option to take... file it against eBay, or just be happy with a refund & get one for the same price elsewhere?!?!

wait for them to leave feedback first, oh and check to see if they have relisted them at the same price, if they have obviously a scam, if they have now changed it to the correct price it was a genuine mistake

"The seller ended this listing early because of an error in the listing."

and hes only sold 3 out of 97, if it was a scam he wouldnt have ended it

yeah accept refund seems to be a genuine mistake and would be different if it was in a shop or that and you could argue to get it for the price listed..
