Just because right now my place of employment is closed for winter season, it doesn't mean I don't work / never work. I work weekends, and solidly through summer / holidays. When I'm not working there, I work part time at a school or at my dad's business.
The money I make plus, student loan is what I have to live on. At the end of the day it's my choice to spend £50 on a night out. I'm not funded by my parents, I doubt they could afford to foot my bills, let alone be stupid / nice enough to pay for me to go get drunk.
If you check that post a month ago, it only said I was currently an unemployed student. Back at work this sunday and worked over christmas. Same way I pay for my own car, insurance, etc.
I wish I was some little spoilt kid, who could fall back on their parents wealth whatever the situation. I'd definately enjoy life more if that was a case and not be feeling like I'm under a ton of pressure to finish this degree that I hate.
