Anyone ever had a college assignment where they find no matter how hard they try that they cannot do it? I have one due in tomorrow and I've done what I can and I know its not good enough to pass but I really cant do anymore on it! Discussed this with the tutor a couple of weeks ago but he said you'll have to do some more work on it, do more research 
Have tried and tried to do it but I cannot do it. Its just too hard.
Its way over my level of knowledge.
All I can do is hand it in I suppose and see what he says.
Anyone else been in a similar situation? Did you get a bollocking or did the tutor realise that they might have actually set something that was way above your level! I dont understand how I am supposed to do something that I cant do...

Had this last business assignment.
Just tell him, then loose your rag like your going to smash the place up. 
Worked for me, got an extension and an explanation.

do as much as u can to the best of ur ability, there will always be one projetc here or there that u cant do aswell as u like,
im designin cosmetics packaging at the mo and i sooo cant be arsed with it but have to do it the best i can

I'm in same boat mate. Got so much coursework coming up, and got one in for a days time. Not even started. most have been working on it for weeks and still not finished - struggling to get motivation.

I am only going to college as work want me to. Do 1 day a week and work the other 4 days. Much rather work 5 days a week than go to college.
Apparently a degree is another world compared to the HNC I'm doing now. My boss mentioned about me doing a degree but I'm struggling on this course so no way am I doing a degree

tinternet copy and paste exercise!
Just dont do what i did one morning around 4am when i was craving for some sleep before college.......i was copying and pasting off an american website, they spell some words different to us plus there slang is different.........anyway dead give away, i got a referal and asked to do it all again!

The guy that is tutoring us for Geology & Soil Mechanics doesn't seem to realise we are at the learning stage. I think he thinks that we've been here before and know it all as have emailed others on the course and they say the same thing about the assignment being too hard

I copy, paste then edit it into my own words as thats not against the rules but it never sounds as good the way I put it

I have one like this at the moment. Case study of equality issues in my area of work. I'm having difficulty choosing an issue as there aren't many, or at least I can't relate to any enough to talk about them.
If my students struggle the two things I suggest to them is break it up as much as you can and get your ideas down graphically.

Printing off my 4 pages to hand in today...
Gone through the assignment tasks and ticked them off and have covered all but one and the one I haven't really done I have at least written a little bit about.
I really cant add anymore to it but I just have a feeling theres gonna be someone thats written about 15 pages 
Have to hope that what I have written is good but I'm not confident.
