It's been with the engine builder forr far too long, but now it's finally back home.
i'll be finishing off the build before swapping it back into its resting place of the bay of my gsi which incidentally hasn't moved since the day of trax.
got it back on it's stand today ready for a quick spruce and final building.
some pics of the block:
machined pistons, decked top, honed bores
new oil pump with sbd internals
head has been waiting patiently for a good few months after a rebuild and slight working by Gary from Swindon off of Migweb
masked up waiting for some paint
and with a few coats of gold hamerite
finish isn't tip top but then i'm no sprayer, and it does look a lot better.
i'll take off the masking tomorrow and see how it looks.
starting to get a little excited about getting it back on the road now.

hoping to break into 14's once it's had a quick running in.
still a bit of work left to do yet before it's ready, but hopefully will be sorted within a few weeks. i don't work very quickly

that's the eventual aim, but it definately wont be this year.
should have soome funky cams and verniers this year and then bodies next. unless i go for the homebrew superbike setup i've been daydreaming about.
