Sissoko may have to retire after he got kicked in the eye against Benfica.

Looks like he could lose all vision in his right eye which would mean he cant go on playing The stupid wanker who did it (Beto) should be banned as his foot was right up when he kicked him.

Beto 'It was just a typical 50-50 midfield situation that happens all the time.'

Yeah, those 50/50 challenges at 5ft in the air are always happening.

Yeah he was looking like he could turn out to be an excellent buy. Hopefully he wont lose too much eyesight and will be OK, think he'll be out for a couple of months though.

Earl, got it

how does a 6ft 1" big black guy in a bright white top get out your view when he is to the side and slightly infront of you!

To be fair these things happen in most games, I don't think there was any intent there. Poor bloke hope he gets better and can carry on playing, more importantly doesn't lose his sight.

yeah, getting kicked in the eye and detaching your retina so you lose part of your sight (possibly all) in that eye is definitely deserved

you couldnt never be as good a player with one ye. You ever tried judging the flight of a ball with an eye closed? All your preception is gone and you'll miss it 90% of the time.
